Electronic remediation

Debugging checks

The term electronic remediation refers to a particular investigative service that, through the use of special technical and electronic instruments, is able to ascertain whether there are hidden captators installed to record conversations (bugs, wiretaps and micro recorders), video footage (hidden cameras) or to take possession of confidential or secret data and information (spy software/apps, etc.).

Such detection can be performed, as stated above, by means of sophisticated technology that is becoming more and more powerful with each passing year.

It is a service that can be requested by companies, organisations and sometimes even private individuals, who, in order to safeguard their privacy and confidentiality, want to ensure that the security of the data and information they possess is absolutely certain and verifiable.

In fact, information security is one of the needs most felt by companies, public bodies and state organisations in general, which, today, must necessarily act on this aspect to avoid serious or even irreparable repercussions.

Usually, companies involved in cases of unfair competition and/or having an unfaithful in-house resource turn to an investigation company for this type of service.

Thanks to state-of-the-art technological equipment, it is possible to detect the above-mentioned capturers even if they are switched off or inactive.

Electronic remediation is subdivided into environmental (targeting rooms in homes, offices, boats, cars, professional offices, etc.), telephone (on landlines and mobile phones) and computer (tablets, fixed and portable PCs)

The prerequisite for carrying out the investigation, in other words, the condicio sine qua non, is that the party requesting the service is the owner, legal representative or has other suitable title over the property he/she wishes to safeguard and, furthermore, that he/she is not under investigation by the Judicial Authority.

To this end, Confidential Agency takes precautions by having the client sign, in addition to the mandate, a special notice (indemnity) exonerating him/her from any form of liability for having received false declarations in this regard from the client.
